KFC Fried Chicken Flavored Toothpaste
KFC has ventured beyond the dinner table with a bold and unexpected product: fried chicken-flavored toothpaste. Launched on April 1, 2025, in collaboration with Australian oral care brand Hismile, this limited-edition toothpaste was inspired by KFC’s signature blend of 11 herbs and spices. Despite initial skepticism due to its April Fool’s Day debut, the product was genuine and garnered significant attention, selling out within 48 hours of its release.
Priced at $13, the fluoride-free toothpaste was marketed as delivering the sensation of biting into a piece of KFC’s Original Recipe chicken, while still promising a fresh and clean mouthfeel. To complement the toothpaste, a $59 KFC-branded electric toothbrush featuring three cleaning modes and a built-in timer was also introduced.
The collaboration was initially conceived as a playful marketing stunt but evolved into a viral sensation. Koban Jones, Hismile’s marketing manager, noted, “We love pushing boundaries, and what better way to do that than by bringing KFC’s legendary flavours into an everyday essential? This collab is bold, unexpected, and seriously fun.”
While the toothpaste is currently sold out, the electric toothbrush remains available for purchase on Hismile’s website. This unique partnership exemplifies how brands can creatively merge culinary delights with daily routines, leaving consumers both amused and intrigued.
